    Throughout the wedding planning process, Pauline & Jake have come to realize that not only are they celebrating their love for each other, not only are they proclaiming their love and marriage publicly to their friends and family, but they are honoring their parents. Pauline's Mommy & Daddy are the quintessential role models of love, happiness, contentment, peace, commitment and devotion. Pauline grew up in the bosom of their love, learning about caring selflessly for others. This is why Pauline & Jake dedicates their marriage, their love, their entire wedding day to the people without whom Pauline & Jake wouldn't even have met - Pauline's Mommy & Daddy.

  • Rachel Jacob

    aka Jake's Mom


    Jake's mom Rachel, who is called 'Amma' by Jake, (and who is called Gautam by his mom, btw), will be joining us from South India from a small town called Kottayam. Rachel owns an antique business in South India and lives in a palatial home that Jake seriously misses. Her love for animals is something that Jake shares and she has at least 2 to 3 dogs at her house at all times! It's really a joy to visit her. Jake & Pauline are really excited to take her to all the antique stores in Houston to find out once and for all, how much these antique dealers in the Heights are ripping us off!

    Jake and her also share a strong love for all things automotive. Jason, can we get the keys to the ferrari, please? :-0

    We are all looking forward to her visiting the US and being a part of our wedding!

  • Capt. Gopinath & Krishnaveni Gopinath

    aka Jake's Dad & Krishnaveni (doh!)


    Jake's dad, also known as Capt. Gopinath, or Capt., or Gopi was ruler of all ships and the harbor in Goa. In all seriousness, Jake remembers his dad as a very influential person in the business world of Goa. He is married to Krishnaveni who is probably one of the best cooks in India. Ever. Pauline is on strict orders from Jake to spend as much time with Krishna when she is here to learn the art of cooking curry since he is tired of flied lice and plawns.

    Jake is looking forward to spending time with Gopi since they both share a strong love for anything that has to do with music and electronics, so we might be doing some shopping!!

  • Auris Huen

    The favorite sister


    Auris, Pauline's older sister is Pauline's favorite sister. The fact that she is also Pauline's only sister is immaterial. Auris is blessed with the gift and talent for healing and is pursuing her 2nd doctorate degree. On the days that she's not at the library, Auris loves to cook and bake. Her generous culinary skill is known across continents among her loved ones as she is always throwing dinner parties and get-togethers.

    Pauline & Jake appreciates the organization, analytical prowess and wedding coordinator experience Auris has offered to them. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

  • Aunty Moh Yin

    Doer of all things in Singapore


    Pauline's Aunty Moh Yin, affectionately called Yin Goo took on the responsibility to do all things in Singapore. Yin Goo is Pauline's youngest aunt on her dad's side. Pauline's family lived with her for a brief period in Singapore while they were renovating their house. Yin Goo practically watched Pauline and her sister grow up and to this day remains the fun-loving, generous and doting aunt.

    The Singapore reception would never happen without all her hard work and help. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

  • Aunty Moh Kuen

    Organizer Extraordinaire


    Pauline's Aunty Moh Kuen, affectionately called Kuen Goo was the original Old Skool Little Miss Firecraker. Her vivaciousness and cheekiness spreads smiles and laughter to everyone she comes into contact with. During their honeymoon, Uncle Soo & Kuen Goo visited Pauline's family in Ft. Worth, TX and Pauline teased them endlessly and wanted to see them kiss. Kuen Goo has already forewarned of the circle of life happening to Pauline & Jake during their visit to Singapore.

    Kuen Goo has also taken up responsibility to assist Pauline & Jake with the Singapore reception and for that and everything else Kuen Goo has done for Pauline, we offer our greatest gratitude and love. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!

    Special thanks goes to Erin Golan of Erin G. Photography! She is a long-time friend of Jake's, wife to Jason Golan and the haute mommy of 3 precious, beautiful children. Erin graciously extended her talent to Pauline & Jake and is the creative genius behind their engagement photos and haute couture bridals. Pauline & Jake enjoy Erin's quick-witted sense of humor and together they share Erin's upper-crust foodie distinctions. (whatever that means)

    You cannot miss Bryan. He's tall, he's handsome and boy is he freaking smart! Pauline & Jake want to thank our tall, mensa card-toting, MS 150 cycling friend for also helping with the photography. It's all up to Bryan to capture the goofiness, the stepping over each other, trash-talking male bonding sessions for Jake and his boyz - no pressure. We love you Peters!

    Pauline & Jake thank the residents of The Gotham Lofts, Wu & Jan for extending their wickedly furnished modern art of a loft for Jake and his dudes to get ready. To repay their graciousness, we decided to pick our reception restaurant next to their building. Seriously, thank you for opening Club Naj to us - we will post it on TheKnot.com and tag it as the next hot bridal venue.
